I’m sure everyone has heard of CBD at this point. Whether you’re a skeptic or believer, there’s no denying the benefits of taking a high-quality CBD (cannabinoid). But when is the best time to take it? Experts say that taking CBD in the morning can actually help decrease stress throughout your day. So many people are dealing with anxiety during the day while trying to manage the everyday stressors of life, work, family, etc. That’s why experts recommend not skipping out on that cup of coffee first thing in the morning! Which by the way would be an excellent time to consume your full-spectrum CBD.
How do you get the most out of your day? A good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, or some CBD oil to start off your morning. I personally prefer all three, but let’s focus on the CBD for a moment. When I consume a full-spectrum CBD oil it helps me focus on my work throughout the day and relaxes me before bedtime priming me for a good night’s rest. For those of you who don’t know what it is, CBD oil is hemp-derived with non-detectable (<0.3%) levels of THC. CBD is one of the many non-psychoactive compounds found in hemp that does not produce any sort of high but still has therapeutic effects.
Simply put, the best time of day to take CBD is when you feel that you need it most. If you have an important meeting and need to be 100% focused, then consume your CBD prior to the meeting. Yes, this would be the best time to consume your CBD and get recharged to dominate your day. But, what if you could get the best of both worlds? What if you could wake up feeling well-rested, recharged, and ready to attack your day AND then also incorporate your CBD with your morning coffee? That is why my personal favorite routine is to not only take my CBD when I wake up in the morning, but also right before I go to bed. This gives me a sense of calmness and lets my body unwind after a long day. This primes my body for a restful night of sleep so I can wake up refreshed and then I’ll take my CBD to have an extra edge on my day.
